MARTIAL ARTS:
Martial Art Classes are available through Madison Academy
located at 32 Wall Street, Madison, CT. Classes will meet twice
a week for eight weeks. Various days and times are available.
Classes available are Taekwondo (ages 6 to adult), Young
Dragons (ages 3 to 5) and Cardio-Kickboxing (ages 10 to adult).
The fee is $50 per session. Uniforms are required for all
Taekwondo classes and can be purchased at Madison Academy.
Personal Training is also available for $45 per hour for three,
one-hour sessions. Martial Arts Classes are held throughout the

ZUMBA LESSONS:
Zumba is exercise in disguise! It is a Latin inspired dance
fitness class that uses international music and dance rhythms
together for the ultimate exercise experience. You do not have
to know how to dance to take a Zumba class. We create a
non-competitive party atmosphere where a student can interpret
the dance rhythms in their own way. It’s fun! It’s different!
It’s easy! It’s effective! Classes will be held at the P & R
Building beginning in Monday
Evenings: January 4 – March 1, 2010 (Excluding Feb. 15th)
Fee: $65.00 (Non-residents $70.00). Each student
must bring their own mat and water. Instructor is Kate Galiano.

Session II: Moviemaking 101 – making your Own Indiana JonesTM
movie
Do you want to be the next Steven Spielberg?
Using your own imagination, creativity, special digital movie
making cameras, software and Indiana Jones Lego set
sets, you will create your very own Indiana JonesTM
movie! You will become part of a team of writers, photographers,
directors and producers and create your own story and script,
build various Indians Jones Lego® scenes and begin
to edit your own movie. Ages: 6

AEROBIC DANCE CIRCUIT:
Classes will be held at the P & R Building.
First Session: Dates: Wednesdays:
Oct. 28, 2009 – Dec. 16, 2009, Time: 6:15 – 7:15 pm.
Fee is $65.00 ($70.00 Non-residents) The program is for
Adults and limited to 18 participants. Description: bored of
your old routine? Come down and enjoy this highly effective
circuit! It is a fun way to workout, alternating between
Aha-cha, Jive, Cardio Kickboxing and resistance training. Each
class includes Power-Abs and full-spectrum stretching. Please
bring a mat and water bottle. Light weights optional. Check

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL CLINIC:
For 6th, 7th, 8th grade girls.
Children will learn the rules and skills required playing
volleyball. The instructor is Joe Grippo. The clinic will be
held at the Morgan gym in March 2010. More info to follow.
YOUTH BASKETBALL:
For boys and girls ages 9 to grade 8. Children must be
9 years old by December 1, 2009.
Games will be held on Saturdays at the Morgan School gyms
beginning December 5th.
Practices are one night per week. The fee is $40 ($80 per
family), which includes a T-shirt. A $10 late fee will be added
if registration is received after
October 30, 2009. There
will be a Clinic and Draft at the Morgan School. Please check

INSTRUCTIONAL YOUTH
BASKETBALL: For boys and girls in Grades 2 and 3. Children will
learn offense and defense skills, practice shooting and play
mini scrimmages. The children will meet on Saturdays beginning
December 5, 2009 at the
Joel School gym. The fee is $30, which includes a T-shirt. A
$10 late fee will be added if payment is received after
November 6, 2009. There
will be one evening registration at the P & R Building on
Thursday, Nov. 5th from 6 – 8 pm.
FIRST GRADE YOUTH BASKETBALL:
For
boys and girls in 1st grade. Children will learn the
fundamental of basketball. They will meet on Saturday
afternoon’s beginning in January 9th
at Joel School gym. The fee is $20, which includes a
T-shirt. Payments due by
December 18, 2009.
DEP SAFE BOATING CLASSES:
(Adults
and children over 10) This is a 10 hour course that meets on
Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:30 pm for two weeks.
The last class will give a final exam. A passing grade will
enable you to apply for your Safe Boating certificate. The
classes will be held at the Morgan School, located at 27
Killingworth Turnpike (route 81), Clinton, CT 06413. The
minimum class size is 20 and the maximum size is 30. There will
be two sessions available: Session
I: March 2, 4, 9, & 11, 2010,
Session II: April 20, 22, 27
& 29, 2010. & Session III: May
18, 20, 25, & 27 2010. The fee is $10 per person
